27 i 28 października zapraszamy na specjalne projekcje w ramach Międzynarodowego Dnia Animacji. W niedzielę o 15:00 zapraszamy najmłodszych widzów na Podwieczorek z Animacją: Animowane Triki Dla Dzieci | ITFS (5+). W poniedziałek natomiast aż dwa bloki filmowe. O 19:00 MDA: Najlepsze animacje z Badenii-Wirtembergii | ITFS 2019. O 20:15 MDA: The Best of Trickfilm | Stuttgart 2019 - przegląd filmów.
Idea Międzynarodowego Dnia Animacji zrodziła się na początku XXI wieku dla upamiętnienia pierwszego publicznego pokazu animacji Theatre Optique Emile’a Reynauda, który odbył się 28 października 1892 roku w Grevin Museum w Paryżu. Powszechnie uznaje się to wydarzenie za symboliczny początek historii animacji. Od 2002 roku MDA jest flagowym wydarzeniem organizowanym na całym świecie przez Międzynarodowe Stowarzyszenie Twórców Filmu Animowanego (Association Internationale du Film d’Animation – ASIFA), we współpracy z licznymi organizacjami i festiwalami.
Organizatorem MDA w Łodzi jest Festiwal Animacji O!PLA we współpracy z kinem BODO i ASIFA POLSKA.

MDA: Najlepsze animacje z Badenii-Wirtembergii | ITFS 2019
W ten szczególny dzień czyli Międzynarodowy Dzień Animacji zapraszamy na przegląd najciekawszych niemieckich animacji z regionu Badenii-Wirtembergii, znanego m.in. z jednej najsłynniejszych europejskich szkół animacji specjalizujących się w animacji 3D, licznych studiów (FILM BILDER, Soi) oraz Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Filmów Animowanych TRICKFILM w Stuttgarcie. W programie m.in. najlepsze prace studentów Film Academy Baden-Württemberg oraz filmy niezależnych twórców działających w Badenii-Wirtembergii.

Shadi Adib's contribution towards a common Europe celebrated its world premiere at ITFS19. “Animation for Europe” was a project of ITFS with support by the Ministry of Justice and Europe Affairs Baden- Württemberg on the occasion of the European elections in 2019. The award winner Shadi Adib has realized a filmic "ode": A hungry seagull persuades three lonesome men fishing on the open sea to unite their rafts (forming Europe of course) and to catch together the biggest fish. "We are all in the same boat".

W tym szczególnym dniu, 19. Międzynarodowym Dniu Animacji, zapraszamy na przegląd laureatów i wybranych filmów z konkursu międzynarodowego 26. Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Filmów Animowanych TRICKFILM w Stuttgarcie Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) , jednego z największych festiwali animacji w Europie.

The content of the next BEDTIME FOR ADULTS will be the winners and selected films from the international competition of the 26th International Festival of Animated Films TRICKFILM in Stuttgart (Internationales Trickfilm-Festival Stuttgart), one of the largest animation festivals in Europe.
